Our Process for Providers
Before we begin
All the healthcare workers, in fact almost all overseas workers you would bring to the UK, are classed as ‘Skilled Workers’ and they need a special ‘Skilled Worker Visa’ to come and work in the country.
To come to the UK, a Skilled Worker must be sponsored by a licensed employer. UK Visas & Immigration - or UKVI - is the government body that licences employers to bring in overseas workers, issues visas to overseas workers, and is responsible for immigration compliance.
You may already have a UKVI sponsor licence, if you do, that’s great, we can get started right away. If not, you will need to apply for one.
You apply for the licence and pay the fee online. You should get a decision in 4-8 weeks. To be granted a licence you need to provide information about your business, explain why you need to bring in overseas workers and show UKVI you are a fit and proper organisation to hold a licence.
You can apply for the licence yourself or ask a solicitor or immigration specialist to do it for you.
You can also access our glossary of UKVI key terms to help you along the way.
While you’re waiting for your sponsor licence to be issued, we can start marking plans.
If you are new to overseas recruitment, this is also a good time to talk to you about what is involved in sponsoring and employing an overseas worker.
Based on our initial discussion with you, we put together a proposal setting out what we can offer with transparent pricing and timescales.
We can introduce you to potential employees who have already gone through our selection process so you can experience first-hand the quality and commitment we rigorously select.
We’re ready to go
Once you have decided to proceed we select a number of candidate profiles for you to consider, based on your criteria.
From these profiles you select candidates you would like to meet. This could be an informal chat or a more formal interview. You are welcome to interview candidates online or to visit and make use of our offices.
Making Introductions
Once you have settled on the right candidates you can make a job offer. All job offers are subject to candidates achieving the necessary level of English and fulfilling any relevant registration requirements.
Once your offer is accepted and any other requirements are satisfied, the process of preparing your new employees to relocate begins.
There is always a lot to do, just like you, we want your new employees to arrive in the UK prepared for a new life. First things first, we work with you to apply for their visa. Once this is granted, we can make travel plans and help prepare your new employee to settle into life in the UK. We work with our employer partners to ensure new arrivals are well supported from the moment they land with all the important things in place when they arrive.
